Hanson, City Administrator <br />RE: Liaison Role with Sheriff's Department <br />MAYOR <br />Michael Fahey <br />COUNCIL <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Bill Blesoner <br />Rick Cohova <br />Jim LaVatic <br />Attached is a memo from Dwight Johnson, City Manager of Shoreview, <br />which was presented to those attending a meeting between contracting <br />cities and Jerry Bergeron of the Sheriff's Department. Essentially, <br />this memo proposed an on -going committee structure to establish a <br />more proactive relationship with the Sheriff's Department. <br />Personally, I feel this is an excellent idea to assist in long -range <br />planning and cost control. This idea also received unanimous support <br />from those in attendance. <br />Therefore, it is my recommendation that the City of Little Canada <br />finalize our support of the concept proposal and appoint a <br />representative to this group. <br />Attached is a resolution for your consideration. <br />Page 99 <br />
