Carley and Associates, I6c. <br />500 West highway 96 <br />Shoreview, MN 55126 <br />Dear Mr. .Carley: <br />RE: CENTRE PLACE <br />LITTLE CANADA, MN <br />Pursuant to your telephone conversation' with Nick Boosalis on December <br />7, 1989, I am writing to address Centre Place, the grading 'of the <br />eleven lots, and the grading of the roadway area. <br />Attached please find copies of three separate proposals for the above <br />mentioned grading work. These proposals are based on grading and <br />erosion control plan dated September 10, 1989, and specifications dated <br />November 1989. Both of which were prepared by Schoen and Mattson, <br />Inc. Erin Contracting of Coon Rapids is the low bidder at $30;500.00. <br />Also, please add to this an allowance figure of *3,000.00 for winter <br />conditions to be drawn on as the need arises. Erin Contracting is a <br />reputable grading contractor and is a contractor that has completed <br />several project§ for Sherman- Boosalls Company. Also attached Is a <br />proposal. from Schnell and Madsen for surveying service. The proposal <br />Is 'split between public and private. .The City's contribution would be <br />for the amount listed under public: These are the cost?;• we. can <br />identify at this point. Should there be other related costs we will <br />contact you. . <br />As previously indicated in telephone conversation, the. City of Little <br />Canada's participation in the grading costs - above mentioned would be <br />35% and Sherman-Boosalis .Company's share would be 6131.
