Page 3 3.6 Control of Hazardous Materials Response Team The Applicant acknowledges that the work of the Hazardous Materials Response Team is dangerous and that the methodology of containing and securing Hazardous Materials is an exercise of judgment. Therefore, the City personnel will have command of the Hazardous Materials Response Team personnel and equipment in any response to a Hazardous Materials Incident. 4. APPLICANT'S OBLIGATIONS 4.1 Information Provided Prior to Emergency The Applicant will provide the following information upon execution of the Contract; 1. a copy of the most recent comprehensive emergency plan with resources and area map with on -going updates; information relating to emergency and non - emergency radio and telephone (frequencies /numbers) capability between the Applicant and Saint Paul. 3. emergency response plans by facility, pre fire plan, other information that may be needed. 4. training level of your support personnel, le, first responders, availability of SLS or ALS units. 4.2 Request for Service All requests by Applicant for services shall be made by LITTLE CANADA Fire Department designee and shall be directed to the St. Paul Fire Department Communications Division. At the time of request, Applicant will provide the following information, as available. 1. a description of the incident including what happened, the time, the type of materials involved, the geographic area affected and any other detail which may be helpful; 2. a description of the most favorable response route to minimize response time. 4.3 Incident Management The Applicant will provide, at its own expense, for the overall incident management and shall provide for crowd control and the evacuation of the site, site security, firefighting, heavy equipment and diking material as needed by the incident. b'd Page 7 38I3 .j0 1d3a lindd is 02:00 06, L2 a3d
