AGREEMENT BETWEEN RAMSEY COUNTY AND Little Canada FOR A RECYCLING GRANT This Agreement is made this day of , 1990, between Ramsey County through the Public Health Department (hereinafter "County ") and (hereinafter "City "). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the County has established policies and plans supporting curbside recycling as part of an overall waste abatement program, and WHEREAS, the City supports curbside recycling and desires that it be available to residents of the City, and WHEREAS, the County has collected funds through its solid waste /recycling service charge and from the State of Minnesota specifically for curbside recycling, and WHEREAS, the City has requested funds from the County to support the City's curbside recycling program, NOW THEREFORE, the County and City mutually agree as follows in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein: 1. OBLIGATIONS a. Reimbursement 1) The City shall provide a curbside recycling program and shall incur expenses for reimbursement by the County according to the Budget shown in Attachment A. The City shall not request reimbursement for expenses or that portion of expenses which have been or will be reimbursed by other parties, agencies or programs. The City may request reimbursement on a monthly, quarterly or semi- annual basis, depending on the schedule the City chooses. The City shall submit proper documentation for reimbursement which shall include photocopies of the contractor's bill(s) and bills for public education expenses, a completed County claim form, and monthly tonnages for the period. 2) The County shall reimburse the City for up to 75% of program costs described in Attachment A, following receipt of adequately documented requests for reimbursement from the City.
