MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JULY 13, 2006 <br />However, if a building permit is being issued for major exterior work to a <br />home, such as an addition, then the requirement to pave the driveway <br />should be imposed. <br />Barraclough pointed out that a gravel driveway may be more <br />environmentally friendly. The City Planner replied that Class V <br />driveways become compacted and shed water just like hard surfaced <br />driveways. <br />The City Planner stated that he will have more discussion with City staff <br />on this issue and will bring a revised ordinance to the Commission for <br />consideration at their August meeting. <br />Duray recommended that the Amendment to the Zoning Code relative to <br />fence permits and the establishment of driveway standards be tabled until <br />the August 10, 2006 Planning Commission meeting. <br />Motion seconded by Barraclough. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />ADJOURN Duray c•ecommended the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Barraclough. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathy Glanz~ <br />City Clerk <br />C <br />/, <br />G~G<~,C~1 <br />l <br />
