They are as follows: <br />* Negotiated increased discount with office supply <br />company. <br />Joined State purchasing program which allows us to <br />realize a savings associated with larger State <br />contracts. <br />* Assumed in -house coordination of newsletter <br />thereby saving outside consultant cost. <br />* Evaluated worker compensation rates which resulted <br />in change to League of Minnesota Cities' program <br />saving the City at least $5,000 in annual premium. <br />* Priced Public Works uniform supply contract that <br />will allow the Superintendent to obtain his own <br />uniform while still allowing the City to realize a <br />savings in 1991 over 1990 costs. <br />* Assumed responsibility for preparation of <br />assessment rolls thereby minimizing engineering <br />time. <br />Assumed responsibility for filing /recording of <br />documents thereby minimizing City Attorney time. <br />Assumed responsibility for easement negotiations <br />reducing the time necessary on the part of the <br />City Engineer and City Attorney. <br />Page 11 <br />MAYOR <br />Michael Fahey <br />COUNCIL <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Bill Blesener <br />Rick Collova <br />Jim LaValle <br />
