As indicated in this letter, there was <br />no prior approval given by the City for the outdoor storage area at this location. <br />As a result of this conversation, we respectfully request the City accept the attached application for <br />both a conditional use permit and a variance request for the accessory outdoor storage. <br />As I understand it, the variance is required because accessory outdoor storage is not allowed in the <br />front or side yard of the site. <br />1. The existing site proves to be a hardship in providing outside storage on this site due to the <br />placement of the building, site access, and the limited area available. <br />
