The main topic of discussion was garbage rates. As <br />of January 1, 1991, the garbage rates will increase as <br />follows: <br />30 Gallon <br />60 Gallon <br />90 Gallon <br />150 Gallon <br />From <br />$10.22 <br />12.02 <br />13.38 <br />17.00 <br />To <br />$10.60 <br />12.42 <br />13.78 <br />17.50 <br />This increase is one of the two increases that the haulers <br />get per year. This is their cost of living increase that <br />is specified in the contract. Last year the consumer price <br />index went up 6.3 %. According to the language of the <br />contract, this is the amount that it can be raised. <br />Another topic of discussion during our meeting was <br />recycling of plastics. The tentative date for plastics <br />recycling will be June 1, 1991.
