VIOLATION BY AGENT. Every licensee is <br />responsible for the conduct and the licensed establishment and <br />any sale of alcoholic beverage by any employee authorized to <br />sell such beverage is the act of the licensee. <br />703.150. OPERATION HOURS. <br />(1) No "On -Sale" sale of liquor shall be made after one <br />o'clock a.m. on Sunday, nor until eight o'clock a.m. on Monday, <br />except as provided herein. No such "On- Sale" shall be made on <br />Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday, between the <br />hours of one o'clock a.m. and eight o'clock a.m. On Sunday no <br />such "On -Sale" sale shall be made except between the hours of <br />ten o'clock a.m. and one o'clock a.m. on Monday. No such <br />"On -Sale" sale shall be made at any time on December 25, <br />Christmas Day. <br />(2) No "Off- Sale" sales of such liquor shall be made <br />between eight o'clock a.m. or after eight o'clock p.m. on <br />Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and before the hour of <br />eight o'clock a.m., or after the hours of ten o'clock p.m. on <br />Friday and Saturday, and no such "Off -Sale" sales of liquor <br />shall be made at any time on Sunday. No "Off -Sale" shall be <br />made on New Years Day, January 1; Independence Day, July 4; <br />Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, December 25; but on the <br />evenings preceding such days, notwithstanding the above <br />provisions, "Off -Sale" sales may be made until ten o'clock p.m., <br />except that no "Off -Sale" sales shall be made on December 24 <br />after eight o'clock p.m. <br />(3) No "On -Sale" licensee shall permit any person to <br />consume any liquor on his premises except within the hours when <br />the sale of such liquor is permitted. <br />703.160. EXCEPTIONS OF SALE. This Chapter shall not be <br />construed to prohibit the sale of wine for sacramental purposes <br />by any person duly licensed by the State Liquor Control <br />Commissioner, nor shall this Chapter be construed to prohibit <br />-16- <br />Page 68 <br />
