Gordon Swanson Property <br />551 East Little Canada Road (3.8 acres) <br />Dear Mr. Hanson, <br />(612) 221 -0401 <br />FAX (612) 297 -6817 <br />We wish to schedule approval of the Preliminary Plat, Green Value <br />Addition. Following my meeting with you on April 18, 1990, we have <br />taken the steps discussed and itemized in my April 17, 1990 letter <br />to you. <br />1. 'Planning Comments have been received by memo of April 24, <br />1990 to you from Stephen Grittman of Northwest Associated <br />Consultants, Inc. We have accommodated his concerns and <br />his recommendation that a new public hearing be held for <br />preliminary plat review. <br />2. Ramsey - Washington Metro Watershed District comments were <br />received by letter of May 22, 1990 from Cliff Aichinger <br />(copy attached) which provides guidance for activities in <br />the construction stage. <br />3. Engineering comments of Michael Lynch of Bonestroo Rosene <br />Anderlik and Associates, are contained in his letter of <br />June 4, 1990 which states the need for a new storm water <br />conveyance facility. <br />4. The Park Commission has recommended a 10% dedication of <br />the land for park purposes. <br />City consideration of the site was given by both the Planning <br />Commission and Council prior to preparation of the attached <br />Preliminary Plat Information. <br />The Michael Lynch letter suggests a storm sewer addition that would <br />serve properties fronting on Little Canada Road. Because of the <br />road designation and the variety of fronting properties it maybe <br />best that the additional facility would be a City- County project. <br />This facility may serve the City hall, Swanson property, the <br />Page 49 <br />
