A copy of the <br />draft ordinance is attached to this report for your reference. <br />The most significant changes are those which require the second <br />freestanding shopping center sign to be located at least 40 feet <br />from the intersection (relating to a second frontage) and the <br />allowance of a separate sign to separate buildings, such as the <br />Rapid Oil Change in the Rice at C Center. In conformance with <br />this ordinance, the developers have submitted a new site plan <br />illustrating freestanding sign locations. The signs must relate <br />to the buildings they identify. Therefore, the two shopping <br />center identification signs may each be 200 square feet in area <br />and 25 feet in height, and the Rapid Oil Change sign may be 66 <br />square feet in area and 16 feet in height.
