They are considering adding a <br />single family zoning district called R -1A which would require 3/4 <br />acre lots and somewhat narrower streets. This has been prompted <br />by concern over the potential development of the Mitchell <br />property on the northeast shore of Twin Lake, a portion of which <br />is in Little Canada. <br />Vadnais Heights would like the City to consider creating a <br />similar district for this area to avoid a conflict between larger <br />and smaller lots. I indicated that the Planning Commission could <br />discuss this issue at its September 13 meeting.
