The meetings were conducted by our City Engineer,
Mike Lynch and were attended by Council Meihber Blesener and
myself. Mayor Hanson also was in attendance at the two
meetings on Monday.
The purpose of these meetings was to discuss the
perceptions regarding drainage problems existing in the
Thunder Bay area. They were conducted as a follow -up to
the survey we did late last fall. (A copy of the survey
results is attached for your review.)
The results of these four meetings can be summarized as
follows:
* The consensus of those present at all meetings was
that problems exist and corrections need to be
made.
* Concern was voiced regarding the responsibility of
others for the corrective action. Specifically,
developers, neighboring property owners, and the
City were listed as potential sources of the
problem.
■
Page 13
MAYOR
Raymond G.
