April 25, 1991
Mr. Joel R Hanson,
City Administrator,
City of Little Canada,
Little Canada MN 55117
Subject: Drainage in houses on Ontario Road
Dear Mr. Hanson,
This has reference to your letter of April 5, 1991 and also to
the neighborhood meeting called by you on April 17, 1991 at the
City Hall in connection with the drainage problem in back yards
of houses on Ontario Road, Little Canada..
I wish to bring it to your notice that the City of Little Canada
had given a written permission (copy attached) to our builder,
namely, Schwieters and Associates to put the culvert in our back
yards. We have paid towards the cost of this work in the price of
the house.
The City of Little Canada is welcome to do improvement in our
back yard e.g. digging out the culvert and putting it back at the
depth you think will solve the drainage problem but we don't like
to see any ditch once again in our back yard. Also, we are unable
to contribute any money towards the cost of this project as we
have already paid for this work at the time of purchase of our
house. •
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
(Suresh Ghai)
3012 Ontario Road,
Little Canada,
MN 55117
Copy: Letter dated April 13,1989 adressed to our builder.
1
Page 18
