EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />May 8, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City <br />of Little Canada met in regular session at the City Hall on <br />Wednesday, the 8th day of May, 1991 at 7:30 O'clock P.M. <br />The following members were present: Hanson, Collova, LaValle, and <br />Scalze; and <br />The following were absent: Blesener. <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION <br />TO CONDUCT AN ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC STUDY OF THE DIANNA LANE <br />NEIGHBORHOOD DUE TO THE REQUEST OF THE GERVAIS SHORES <br />NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION THAT THE SPEED LIMIT ON DIANNA LANE <br />BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN 25 MILES PER HOUR <br />WHEREAS, <br />The Gervais Shores Neighborhood Association has requested that the <br />speed limit on Dianna Lane be reduced to less than 25 miles per hour <br />for reasons as outlined in their letter dated December 1, 1990; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Speed limits on City residential streets are regulated by State <br />Statute. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of <br />Little Canada hereby requests the Commissioner of Transportation to <br />conduct an engineering and traffic study of the Dianna Lane <br />neighborhood. <br />The adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />Hanson, Collova, LaValle, and Scalze; <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Council this 8th day of May, 1991. <br />PAGE 2 <br />
