single proprietor or manager, having appropriate facilities for <br />serving meals, and where in consideration of payment therefore, <br />meals are regularly served at tables to the general public and <br />which employs an adequate staff to provide the usual and <br />suitable services to its guests. <br />704.020. LICENSE APPLICATION. Any person desiring a <br />special "On -Sale Wine License" shall make a verified application <br />in writing to the City Council and shall file the same with the <br />City Administrator. Such application form shall require that <br />the information set forth in Section 703.040 be provided. In <br />addition, the application must include the location of the <br />premises upon which the applicant proposes to sell such wine and <br />an exact description of the particular place within the building <br />where such sales will take place. <br />704.030. REQUIREMENTS FOR INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE <br />GENERALLY APPLY. Except as modified or amended in this Section, <br />provisions of Section 703 regulating intoxicating liquor <br />licenses shall apply to special on -sale wine licenses. <br />704.040. LICENSE FEES. The annual fee for a wine license <br />is $100.00. The license fee may subsequently be changed by <br />Council resolution. Each application for a wine license shall <br />be accompanied by a receipt from the Deputy City Clerk for <br />payment in full of a license fee. If an application for a <br />license is rejected, the Deputy City Clerk shall refund the <br />amount paid. <br />704.050. COMBINATION WINE AND BEER LICENSE. A holder of <br />an On -Sale Wine license issued pursuant to this Section who is <br />also licensed to sell nonintoxicating malt liquor pursuant to <br />Section 702, whose gross receipts are at least 60% attributable <br />to the sale of food, may sell intoxicating malt liquor at <br />on -sale without an additional license. <br />Section 5. <br />Chapter 705 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />705. BOTTLE CLUBS. <br />705.010. PERMIT AND FEES. Whenever any person, <br />association, or corporation, owning or operating any private <br />club or public place, obtains a permit from the State Liquor <br />Control Commissioner pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §340A.414, <br />such applicant shall be required to obtain a permit from the <br />City and the fee for such permit shall be Three Hundred Dollars <br />($300.00) for any one year or any part thereof expiring on the <br />-20- <br />Page 77 <br />
