2(27(8 `VCG21CLIYII
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612) 484 -2177 / FAX: (612) 484 -4538
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Hanson and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: July 19, 1991
RE: Country Drive Easement Vacation
MAYOR
Raymond G. Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Bill Blesener
Rick Collova
Jim LaValle
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Attached is a map received from Rehder & Associates
regarding an additional vacation clarification on the
Country Drive right -of -way relative to Kandice Heights II.
Due to some overlapping right -of -ways between Nadeau Road
and Country Drive, it appears necessary at this time to
clarify the vacation of the Country Drive portion of that
overlapping right -of -way identified by the hash marks on
the attached map. To do so necessitates calling for a
hearing on the vacation by the City Council with the
developer being responsible for the associated costs. It
is my recommendation that we hold the hearing on August 14,
1991.
In the meantime, City staff will do some additional review
regarding the nature of this request and any impact it may
have on existing utility lines. Barring any unforeseen
complications, this should be a routine matter for the
Council to consider.
JRH:kpv
Enclosure
P ag' "7 6
