Snow Plowing Si. Removal
June 20, 1991
F. M. FRATTALONE
EXCAVATING & GRADING, INC.
COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL
3066 Spruce Street / St. Paul, MN. 55117
City of Little Canada
Attn: Joel Hanson
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Joel:
Phone: (612) 484 -0448
Fax: (612) 484 -7839
I am asking for an extension to our agreement for recycling for
two years. This is a partial breakdown of what I have done in the
past nine months at the city of Maplewood.
In September of 1990 I contracted Harry S. Johnson for a complete
set of drawings for the Maplewood recycling center.
Between October 2, and October 31, 1990 I visited with all plan-
ning commission members and council members of Maplewood during
the crushing operation.
Between October 20, and November 1, 1990 I met with different
council members at the Maplewood site.
Between October 1, 1990 and January 18, 1991 I had numerous meet-
ings with the city planner and city engineer in regard to the
Maplewood recycle center.
On January 18, 1991 I had a preliminary hearing with the plan-
ning commission on the ordinance and permit for recycling.
On March 25, 1991 I had a pre- council hearing for the recycling
permit and to adopt an ordinance for recycling.
On May 13, 1991 I asked the council to reconsider the March 25,
meeting. They denied to reconsider hearing, but did agree to
let me re- apply.
On May 28, 1991 the council re- looked at the recycling ordinance.
On June 12, 1991 the council asked the staff to rewrite a separate
recycling ordinance and take the recycling out of the mining
ordinance and for the staff to come back to the council in two
months with a new, complete separate ordinance for recycling.
As of today, this is where I stand.
Sincerely,
7
Frank M.
