MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 23, 1991 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91 -1 -37 - AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO MAKE <br />APPLICATION FOR A RAMSEY COUNTY MUNICIPAL RECYCLING <br />EXPANSION GRANT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />METER HOUSE Blesener reviewed the Public Works Superintendent's <br />REPAIRS report dated January 18th regarding repairs necessary <br />to the City's meter house located on Roselawn Avenue. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91 -1 -38 - AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO <br />PROCEED WITH THE REPAIR, IF FEASIBLE, OR REPLACEMENT OF <br />METERING EQUIPMENT AT THE ROSELAWN AVENUE METER HOUSE <br />AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT AND <br />THE CITY OF ST. PAUL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.' <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />HAZARDOUS Collova reviewed the Building Inspector's <br />BUILDING recommendation regarding a harzardous building located <br />at 2558 Rice Street. <br />The City Attorney commented that the Building <br />Inspector's letter to the property owner appears to be <br />in the proper form, and assuming that the City proceeds <br />to condemnation action, this letter would be the <br />initial step that should be taken. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91 -1 -39 - APPROVING THE BUILDING <br />INSPECTOR'S ACTIONS REGARDING THE HAZARDOUS BUILDING <br />LOCATED AT 2558 RICE STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 14 <br />Page 35 <br />
