MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 27, 1990 There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Scalze pointed out that the existing garage straddles the proposed lot line, and the .City Planner has suggested that either the lot line be .moved or the garage be moved. Scalze read a letter from Father Fitzpatrick of St. John's indicating that the preference of the Parish Council is to remove the garage and they are looking for someone who is interested in it. The Church has indicated that they will commit to removal of the garage by October 1st. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90 -6 -299 - APPROVING THE REQUEST OF ST. JOHN'S CHURCH TO DIVIDE THEIR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD INTO TWO LOTS SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JUNE 11, 1990 AND SUBJECT TO REMOVAL OF THE GARAGE FROM THE PROPERTY BY OCTOBER 1, 1990 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. MOSTAD "^ Council reviewed the application received from Gertrude PRELIMINARY Mostad for the subdivision of her property located at PLAT' 2720 Noel Drive into four lots. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat. Michael Kettic, attorney representing Mrs. Mostad, reported that they have reviewed the City Planner's recommendations and would like some additional time to remove the garage and shed structures from proposed Tract D. Fahey pointed out the suggestion of the City Planner that the applicant final plat each tract separately, then the issue of the garage and shed removal would be delayed until the time of final platting for Tract D. Blesener suggested the option of final platting the property at one time, but a time limit being established for removal of the garage and shed. Page 7 Page 22
