ce✓• fr / 2914114 ceainnac/a
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612) 484 -2177 / FAX: (612) 484 -4538
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Hanson and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: December 6, 1991
RE: Pioneer Park Final Application for Payment
MAYOR
Raymond G. Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Bill Blesener
Rick Collova
Jim LaValle
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Enclosed is the application for final payment for the
Pioneer Park building project with BE Construction in the
amount of $3,451.59. If approved, this would bring the
total cost of the building project to $235,355.18 up
$9,694.18 over the original bid of $225,661.
As you may recall, there were a number of issues needing to
be addressed before this final payment could be processed.
It is the opinion of our architect, Dick Krumm of RVK
Architects, that this proposal is the most fair solution to
the issues previously addressed. While I have not
completed my review of this application as of yet, my
initial reaction is that this is probably true with the
possible exception of damage to the irrigation system which
is not addressed by these calculations.
I will be reviewing this matter in detail with our
Architect and our Park Consultant prior to Wednesday's
meeting in order to formulate my final recommendation.
Should you have any comments or questions in the meantime,
please let me know.
JRH:kpv
Enclosures
Rasa 38
