There are three (3) <br />items listed on the change order which results in a total net increase of $8,845.77. <br />Item 1: <br />calls for lowering the existing 16" water main; which was in grade conflict with the <br />proposed 21" storm sewer to serve the future Costa Avenue. This item shall be <br />completed for an increase of $5,595.92 <br />Item 2: calls for insulating the existing water main as it crosses Costa Streets. The existing <br />main has 4' cover in this area. This item shall be completed for an increase of <br />$1,235.80. <br />Item 3: calls for connecting to the existing water main at Allen Avenue. These items were <br />not included in the original bid.
