The City of Little Canada proposes to plant trees in Pioneer Park, a new 34 acre park site located at 2930 Centerville Road in the City of Little Canada. The City proposes to plant approximately 250 trees of at least 11 different species. Purpose and Objectives The purpose of the Community Tree Planting Project is to provide shade, improve the beauty of the area, improve species diversity and help to implement the City's urban forestry plan for the enjoyment and well -being of residents. The objectives will be to plant 250 trees of at least 11 different species, to utilize the maximum amount of small businesses in the implementation of the project and to have a lasting positive impact on the Community. 2.
