L.C.F.D. Relief Assn. minutes 7 -23 -91 pg. 2 (cont.)
A couple years ago the Relief Assn. reached an agreement with the city that
their annual contribution automatically increase a certain percentage each
year until it matched the 2% state aid figure. After that it would automatic-
ally match the state contribution. Bill Blesener asked the Board to consider
the possibility of freezing the city's contribution at the 1991 figure for a
period of time. The city's situation has become so tight that the council had
to look at every expenditure for areas to cut or at least hold the line. He
feels that the Relief Assn. contribution will become an issue at budget':
time. The general feeling of the Board is that we would definitely like to
continue with our current agreement.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10p.m.
Tom Stadler,
Secretary
Page 14
