5. Coordinate a personnel system for the hiring of full k part -time <br />employees. <br />a. Coordinate personnel practices with the City system. <br />b. Supervise and authorize all personnel functions and record <br />keeping. <br />c. Coordinate in- service training for personnel. <br />6. Supervise all maintenance construction projects or capital improve- <br />ments in City parks. <br />a. Develop and plan for capital improvements. <br />b. Coordinate with consultants for plans and specs for capital <br />improvements. <br />c. Supervise the construction projects. <br />d. Authorize the completion and final payment for capital projects. <br />7. Purchase capital equipment and supplies for the department. <br />a. Determine proper equipment for application. <br />b. Survey market for price and availability <br />c. Let bids or secure price quotes. <br />d. Purchase according to City guidelines. <br />8. Performance of any other duties as directed or apparent. <br />a. Attend staff and City Council meetings as required. <br />b. Prepare special reports for the Council and Clerk Administrator as <br />required. <br />c. Attend all Park Board meetings and act as liaison between Conned' <br />and Park Board. <br />d.
