PROPOSAL FOR PROVISION gf LITTLE CANADA RECREATIONAL SERVICES <br />hi THE CITY QE ROSEVILLE <br />Background <br />The City of Little Canada is exploring options for the manner <br />in which the City administers recreational programming for <br />its citizens. One prominent option is to contract for <br />services with a neighboring community. Following a request <br />from the City of Little Canada, The City of Roseville offers <br />the following for consideration and further discussion: <br />Proposal <br />The City of Roseville, through its Parks and Recreation <br />Department, proposes to provide the following services: <br />1. Administration of all Little Canada's recreational <br />programs and activities. <br />2. Services will be provided at existing costs. <br />3. Roseville will hire and supervise all personnel. <br />4. Staff from Roseville Parks and Recreation Department will <br />meet monthly with the Little Canada Commission. <br />5. Roseville staff will service all questions and complaints <br />in an efficient and timely manner. <br />6. Level of programming will be similar to that of <br />Roseville. <br />7. Little Canada will retain their name on all programs <br />developed for and held in Little Canada. <br />8. Roseville will coordinate Little Canada recreational <br />facilities insuring use by Little Canada citizens. <br />9. Roseville will continue to provide registration services <br />in Little Canada. <br />10. Roseville Parks and Recreation staff will provide regular <br />reports to the Little Canada Administrator and meet at <br />least annually with Little Canada City Council. <br />11. Roseville Parks and Recreation staff will consult and <br />cooperate with the Little Canada Recreation Association. <br />12. Little Canada citizens will be able to access Roseville <br />Parks and Recreation programs without paying a non- <br />resident fee. <br />Page 6 <br />
