MAR -12 -1931 15:B9 FROM SWEENEY '& BORER <br />TO LITTLE-CANADA R.OE /13 <br />Subd. 1. Contents. A license applicant must complete an <br />application form provided by the City Administrator. The <br />application must be in a form and request information of <br />the applicant as determined by the City Council. <br />Subd. 2. Execution. If the applicant is a natural person, <br />the application must be signed and sworn to by the person; <br />if a corporation, by an agent authorized to sign; if a <br />partnership, by a partner. <br />Subd. 3. Fees. The application must be accompanied by the <br />required license fee. The fee will be returned to the <br />applicant if the application is rejected. <br />Subd. 4. False Statements.. It is unlawful to knowingly <br />make a false statement in the license application. In <br />addition to all other penalties, the license may be <br />subsequently revoked by the City Council for a violation of <br />this subsection. <br />Section 817.30. Bond. A pawnbroker or secondhand goods <br />dealer license will not be issued unless the applicant files <br />with the City Administrator's Office a bond with corporate <br />surety, cash, or a united States government bond in the amount <br />of $5,000.00 for a pawnbroker license or $3,000.00 for a <br />secondhand goods dealer license. The bond must be conditioned <br />on the licensee obeying the laws and ordinances governing the <br />licensed business and paying all fees, taxes, penalties and <br />other charges associated with the business. The bond must <br />provide that it is forfeited to the City upon a violation of law <br />or ordinance. <br />Section 817.35. Site Plan. The application for a <br />pawnbroker or secondhand goods dealer license must be <br />accompanied by a site plan drawn to scale. The site plan must <br />contain: <br />(a) a legal description of the property upon which the <br />proposed licensed premises is situated; <br />(b) a plot plan; <br />(c) the exact location of the licensed premises on the <br />property, customer and employee parking areas, <br />accesses onto the property, and entrance into the <br />premises; <br />(d) the location of and distance from the nearest church, <br />school, hospital, and residence; and <br />Page 5 <br />
