Hanson <br />TO: Mayor Hanson and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: John Palacio, Building Official <br />DATE: January 9, 1991 <br />RE: Abatement of Hazardous Chemicals at 200 Ryan Drive <br />Tom's Chrome Shop has moved into Little Canada and is in <br />violation of Chapter 601 of our Municipal Code, the Uniform <br />Fire Code and the Uniform Building Code. They have brought <br />with them concerns that need to be addressed. <br />* October 2, 1990 - A phone conversation took place <br />regarding the Code requirements. <br />* October 4, 1990 - Tom's Chrome Shop received a <br />certified letter from us pertaining to the <br />requirements needed for compliance to the Codes. <br />Since October 4, Tom's Chrome Shop moved into <br />Little Canada. <br />* January 2, 1991 - A letter was hand delivered to <br />the owner of the building, Russ Fisher, to <br />indicate that Tom's Chrome Shop had moved in <br />without permits. <br />* January 4, 1991 - A letter was hand delivered to <br />Tom's Chrome Shop to indicate that inspections had <br />been conducted. <br />* January 7, 1991 - A letter was hand delivered to <br />the owner of the building and a letter was posted <br />on the door of 200 Ryan Drive to indicate <br />abatement of the nuisance. <br />Page 26 <br />
