Owners claiming <br />their animals shall be charged the veterinary bill in its <br />entirety. <br />g. The charge for animals picked up at the request of an <br />owner shall be charged to such owner at the rate of <br />$45.00 /per animal. For the removal of large livestock, <br />dead or alive, an additional charge of $20.00 per hour <br />will be levied to the Municipality or the owner. The HSRC <br />will work with other agencies whenever possible to handle <br />non - domestic animals. (The Raptor Center, Wildlife <br />Clinic, DNR, etc.) <br />h. The HSRC shall retain all impoundment, kennel, <br />medical, and other fees charged to the owner for each <br />impoundment. <br />i. The HSRC shall make arrangements for fines paid for <br />violation of city ordinances to be paid to the city. <br />The Municipality shall make payment to HSRC on the first day <br />of the month prior to the service. All other fees and charges will <br />be billed to the Municipality at the end of each month. <br />The HSRC agrees not to raise the monthly service rate by more <br />than eight (5) percent annually for cost of living and population <br />increases. The HSRC will give a minimum of thirty (30) days written <br />notice of any increase to monthly rate. <br />In the event that HSRC is not generating sufficient revenues <br />from this agreement, both parties agree to review the matter for <br />any appropriate adjustments. <br />5. Records. HSRC agrees to make available to the Municipality <br />and either the legislative auditor or the state auditor for the <br />purpose of audit examination pursuant to Minn. Stat. Section <br />168.06, any books, documents, papers and records of HSRC that are <br />pertinent to HSRC's provisions of services hereunder. HSRC further <br />agrees to maintain all such required records for two (2) years <br />after receipt of final payment. <br />6. Termination. This Contract may be terminated by either <br />party, with or without cause, upon ninety (90) days written notice, <br />delivered by mail or in person to the other party.
