MAY -07 -1992 10 :55 FROM SWEENEY BORER & OSTROW TO LITTLE CANADA P.03/03 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Moratorium Ordinance Relating to Licenses for Car Dealers. <br />(A) Purpose and Intent. The City of Little Canada has <br />adopted a Comprehensive Plan and zoning text, pursuant to M.S. <br />Sections 462.351 and following, and the Little Canada City <br />Council has directed the staff to study and analyze proposed <br />uses and existing zoning of the property within the City of <br />Little Canada for the purposes of considering the relocation of <br />car sales facilities and the issuance of licenses for car <br />dealers within the City of Little Canada and for the purpose of <br />considering the amendment of the Comprehensive Plan and zoning <br />text relating to the same. <br />(B) Pursuant to M.S. Section 462.355, Subd. 4, this <br />interim ordinance, for the purpose of protecting the planning <br />process and the health, safety and welfare of Little Canada <br />citizens, hereby prohibits the issuance of licenses for car <br />dealers and the issuance of conditional use permits for car <br />sales within the entire City of Little Canada. <br />(C) This moratorium shall be in effect for a period of six <br />months from the date of passage and publication of this <br />ordinance. <br />PASSED by the City Council of Little Canada this day of <br />, 1992. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joel R.
