APR— 2-92 T H U 1! : 3 1 C I T Y OF LITTLE C A N A D A
Y1LA c-,.. G'1. 7. C2,0 I.Ii L.or -t. tS
F 3
()lir --
2989 County Drive • !Ale Canada, Minnesota 55117 • Telephone (012) 633-8900 • FAX (612) 481 -0700
"Where Quality Rules"
March 31, 1992
City of Little Canada
Re: Written request for conditional use permit
Suburban's hope is that the Conditional use Permit will allow
us to purchase newer and better conditioned used vehicles/ new
vehicles for the purpose of loaner and courtesy vehicles for
our customers. By having the ability to purchase newer, more
fuel efficient vehicles Suburban Auto Body would also be able
to look at dealer incentives and trade back programs to
continually keep newer cars on the road and there by eliminating
the need for cars to sit on premises while awaiting large, costly
overhauls or being reduced to salvage.
All of our movable= vehicles are stored inside our building
each night as well as Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Courtesy cars would be no exception.
The nature of our business has become so dependent on these
vehicles for both customers and the insurance companies, that
it is generally. the rule that there is always a waiting list.
Giving us barely enough time for a quiETc clean and maintenance
check before they are back on the road. There by making parking
space for these. vehicles.:seldom if: ever..used. But should the
need arise for parking space we are still more than adequatly
covered.
A newer, better looking, more fuel efficient vehicles for our
customers to use and our neighbors to look at is our goal.
Respectfully submitted,
.
Dennis O'Connell
President
APO /clh
Page 72
