Therefore, we
have contacted the Ramsey County Commissioners to make it
clear that we, as an association are opposed to the
consolidation of fire dispatching with Saint Paul
Communications.
To further convey our concerns, we are requesting that
the individual member cities of the Ramsey County Chiefs
Association draft a resolution to the Ramsey County
Commissioners stating the consolidation process should be
halted until such time affected police, fire, and local
governments are given a voice in this process.
Please forward this request to the City Council so action
can be taken at the next Council meeting.
Sincerely,
Ed Leier
President
Joel ewitt
Vice President
Page 88
Tim Vadnais
Secretary
