Hagmabafn
wnsion inc
5353 Gamble Drive
Parkdale 4, Suite 100
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55416
(612) 545 -5353 Fax 545 -2151
June 29, 1992
MR JOEL R HANSON
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
515 LITTLE CANADA ROAD
LITTLE CANADA MN 55117 -1600
RE: CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION
Dear Mr. Hanson:
We are requesting a Conditional Use Permit for the Slumberland
Distribution Center, located at 3060 Centerville Road.
We have enclosed a site plan for the proposed Semi Trailer(216' X
48') and Automobile parking (48' X 33 ") areas for the Slumberland
Distribution Center.
I am sure you are aware that Slumberland's business is continuing
to grow. Because of the increase in business, there is a need to
have additional parking for the Semi Trailers. Due to the fact
that the current number of parking spaces is inadequate, the
trailers have been parking in front of other trailers and at the
roadways. If Slumberland is able to add the additional parking
spaces, it would allow them to park all the trailers in an orderly
fashion.
They are also proposing to add 5 additional parking spaces for
passenger vehicles. This parking area is for the use of customers
who mainly come in on Saturdays to pick -up the furniture.
As you will notice on the drawings, we are relocating the 9
existing trees that were installed when the existing trailer
parking area was built. The moving of the trees should help to
"hide" the trailers from the street.
Page 4.3
An Equal Opportunity Employer
