Together, the existing garage and the storage <br />area exceed 1,000 square feet, which results in the requirement for <br />a conditional use permit. <br />ANALYSIS <br />This proposal would add a 750 square foot storage /garage addition <br />to the existing house, which currently has a 528 square foot <br />attached garage. The Zoning Ordinance allows garages and accessory <br />buildings to total 1,000 square feet, with exception by conditional <br />use permit. The addition will be accessible from the existing <br />garage only and will not have street access. The proposed use is <br />for personal hobby work and storage of antique engine. <br />The applicant has indicated that the large sliding doors shown on <br />the plan are not proposed to be built at this time.
