RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, <br />The Ramsey County Surveyor had previously been responsible for <br />verifying the placement of monuments prior to the recording of <br />the plat; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 505.02, Subdivision 1, has been <br />amended whereby the setting of monuments can now occur within <br />one year after plat recording; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The responsibility for ensuring monument placement has now <br />become the City's; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA, that <br />1. The City of Little Canada will require placement of <br />monuments prior to the recording of a plat in order to fully <br />protect the public interests, and <br />2. The City of Little Canada wishes to pursue a formal <br />relationship with Ramsey County to provide verification of <br />plat monument setting prior to recording. <br />Attest: <br />Raymond G.
