July 28, 1992
City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Rd
Little Canada MN 55117
To whom it may concern,
My intended use of this property is to relocate a
single family house to be used as my residence. I believe
the city should approve my request for three reasons:
A) Adding a single family house to this vacant lot will
enhance the appearance of the neighborhood.
B) Relocating an existing house is preferred to
building a new house for environmental reasons.
C) By using an existing site, the community (through
taxes) as well as the neighborhood will benefit with no
environmental, traffic, or development detriments.
a: Will this conditional use permit promote the public
welfare by:
(1) Reducing traffic congestion? -- It will have no
impact whatsoever on traffic congestion.
(2) Improving safety from fire and other damages? --
With a dwelling existing on the vacant lot and a family
living in the house, mischievous use will be eliminated.
The residence will become a part of the surrounding
neighborhood adding to security by providing another
member of the neighborhood with a stake in keeping it a
secure place.
b: This conditional use will not injure or detract from
the neighborhood. It will enhance the neighborhood by
eliminating a vacant lot and providing another family home
consistent with those already in place.
c: Public facilities such as water, sewer, streets,
schools, and parks are all available or existing at this
site.
I thank you for your consideration in this matter. I
believe your approval is in the best interest of the City
of Little Canada, the immediate neighborhood and myself.
Ronald W Truscott
/ //6/.'
Page 36
