CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. AND THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 5 WHEREAS, the Little Canada City Council (Council) has proposed to exercise the power pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.134 (Municipal Development District Act); and WHEREAS, the City has proposed the establishment and adoption of Development District Project No. and Development Plan therefor, and Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 ( "TIF District ") and a Tax Increment Financing Plan ( "TIF Plan ") therefor, all pursuant to the Municipal Development District Act and Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174 to 469.179 (the "TIF Act "); and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Development District Act and the TIF Act, the City Council of the City must hold a public hearing regarding the proposed Development District Plan and TIF Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota as follows: 1. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, setting a public hearing before the City Council on the 23rd day of September, 1992, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, regarding the proposed Development District Plan and TIE Plan. The notice shall be published in the newspaper at least 10 days but not more than 30 days prior to the date of the public hearing, and shall include a map of the Project and the TIF District. 2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to take all action necessary to bring the Development District Plan and TIF Plan before the City Council at the time of the public hearing.
