MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 8, 1992 <br />that the property owners could develop their property. <br />Drabik suggested that perhaps the Commission should <br />review the ordinance requirements for the area and <br />determine if they are too stringent. <br />Keis pointed out that the existing screening on the <br />property might not be adequate during the winter <br />months, and suggested that the City Planner may be <br />looking for fencing. <br />Olson stated that they are not opposed to putting up a <br />fence, but only wish to be told exactly what they have <br />to do. <br />Hunting felt that Steve Grittman would have been <br />specific with the applicant when they discussed the <br />proposal. <br />Pedersen felt that the Commission needed an exact site <br />plan for this proposal. Pedersen pointed out problems <br />in the past in getting compliance with site plans, and <br />felt it important to have this plan on record. <br />Herkenhoff recommended approval of the application for <br />Conditional Use Permit for outdoor storage for <br />Precision Tree at 2929 Country Drive subject to <br />submission of a site plan for the property which meets <br />the approval of the City Planner, with the indication <br />to the Planner to better communicate on these matters <br />in the future. <br />Seconded by DeLonais. <br />Motion denied with Herkenhoff and DeLonais voting in <br />favor, and Carson, Drabik, Garske, Keis, Pedersen <br />voting against. <br />Garske recommended that the application for Conditional <br />Use Permit for outdoor storage for Precision Tree at <br />2929 Country Drive be tabled until the next Planning <br />Commission meeting pending submittal of a site plan for <br />the property and instructing the applicant to meet with <br />the City Planner to review this site plan. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />SETBACK Mr. Kerry Burnham, Gardner Bros. Homes, appeared before <br />VARIANCE the Commission requesting approval of a sideyard <br />ROSEWOOD setback variance on a corner lot.
