MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION OCTOBER 8, 1992 that the ordinance calls for a limitation of three auto sales licenses in the entire City. Hunting pointed out that it is Grittman's feeling that since auto sales would be an accessory use, the City would rather have auto sales in the appropriate locations, rather than end up with strips of used car sales lots. The recommendation for limiting the number of these operations is because typically cities have problems with them, particularly when the use is accessory to the principle use. Keis asked if the City had a specific zone for car sales. Hunting replied that the B -2 area allows for auto sales. Herkenhoff recommended approval of the used car sales ordinance as submitted by the City Planner. Motion seconded by Drabik. Motion carried 7 - 0. COUNTRY Drabik felt that the Planning Commission should take a DRIVE AREA look at the zoning code for the Country Drive area, and perhaps be a little more realistic for that area. Garske pointed out that the Commission does not want to be short -sited on this issue. Hunting pointed out that some nice development has occurred along Country Drive, and if that type of development is to continue, the City perhaps should not lower standards at this point. DeLonais reported that there are plans being reviewed for additional office development in the area by a private individual. HOUSE Drabik reported that there are homes in the City NUMBERING without numbering, and suggested that the Building Official address this as it is a safety issue. ADJOURN Herkenhoff recommended that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Carson. Motion carried 7 - 0. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:15 P.M.
