LITTLE CANADA
PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTMENT
515 Little Canada Road / Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
Telephone: (612) 484.2177 / Fax: 484-4538
JIM MORELAN, Director
JACK FITZGERALD, Asst. Director
DIANE HUSAK, Asst. Director, Girls Activities
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Hanson and City Council Members
FROM: Jim Morelan, Director of Parks and Recreation
DATE: October 28, 1992
RE: Values Week
I would like to add my support to the request by the
Roseville Area School District to have our city adopt the
list of Community Values that they have presented to us,
and also to have Little Canada proclaim November 8 through
November 14 as Values Week.
I have represented the City as a member of the
Implementation Committee since mid - summer, attending all
meetings and being instrumental in procuring funds from the
Little Canada Recreation Association along with support
from other area organizations.
On November 14, 1992 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. we will
hold a Community Fest at the Roseville Area High School.
This celebration is designed to bring focus to the values.
The day's activities will include, Climb Theater, Pacer
Puppets, The Rocking Hollywoods, storytelling, student
demonstrations, and many other events by community groups.
There will be areas of interest for all ages. Please
encourage all residents to attend to help make Little
Canada an active part of this event.
Page 1
