CONDOLENCES <br />MINUTES <br />REZONING <br />& CUP FOR <br />ELDERLY <br />HOUSING <br />PRESBYTERIAN <br />HOMES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 10, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />September, 1992 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chairman John Keis called the meeting to order at <br />7:45 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mrs. Claudia Drabik <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />The entire Planning Commission offered Chairman Gene <br />DeLonais their sincere condolences on the loss of his <br />wife. <br />Herkenhoff recommended approval of the minutes of the <br />August 13, 1992 regular meeting. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />The Commission reviewed the application submitted by <br />Presbyterian Homes for rezoning from B -3 to RB, and <br />for Conditional Use Permit for elderly housing. Site <br />of the proposed senior housing development is adjacent <br />to the Garden Terrace senior project on Market Drive. <br />Elaine Reid, resident on County Road B -2, appeared <br />before the Commission in support of the project. Reid <br />reported her experiences in having parents who have <br />resided at a similar Presbyterian Homes project, and <br />Page 1 <br />
