PF. <br />Crones A EILLk }un <br />LAT M Pnweltky <br />Harlon M Ol ;on <br />JDees r Errgr rout <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council: <br />Enclosed is supplemental Agreement No, 1 for the project noted above, The agreement <br />consists of three parts and results in a deduct to the original contract amount in the amount <br />of $4,659,47, <br />Part A provides for an extension in the substantial completion date from November 14, 1992 <br />to November 28, 1992, The extension request is due to the unseasonable cold weather along <br />with the early snowfall which has hindered street construction. The final completion date <br />remains unchanged and is June 30, 1993, <br />Part 13 provides for the removal of the Edgerton Street storm sewer extension from the <br />Contract. The storm sewer extension connected the existing County storm sewer to the <br />Edgerton street trunk storm sewer, The County would not participate in 100% of the costs <br />associated with placing the storm sewer extension, Part B results in a deduct in the Contract <br />in the amount of $5,866.47. <br />Part C provides for the lowering of existing sewer and water services. Existing services were <br />shallower than anticipated and were found to be in conflict with the trunk storm sewer being <br />installed from on the south side of Labore Avenue from Edgerton Street to Vanderbie Street, <br />Part C results in an add to the contract in the amount of $1,207.00. <br />We recommend approval of this supplemental agreement as submitted. <br />Yours very truly, <br />BONESTROO, ROSENE, ANDERLIK & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />Michael C.
