EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />OF A MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 27, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />was duly called and held at the City Center of said City on the 27th <br />day of January, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. <br />The following members were present: <br />Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, and Morelan; <br />and the following were absent: None. <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING SUPPORT FOR NORTHWEST YOUTH <br />& FAMILY SERVICES IN THEIR EFFORTS TO OBTAIN <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, <br />Northwest Youth & Family Services is finding more and more people <br />without insurance coverage and in need of financial assistance in <br />order to make use of NYFS's mental health programs; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Northwest Youth & Family Services is seeking Ramsey County Community <br />Block Grant funding to assist in the support of NYFS's mental health <br />programs to make them more readily available to its clients; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE <br />CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />That Council hereby supports Northwest Youth & Family Services' <br />efforts in seeking and obtaining a Community Development Block Grant <br />for its mental health programs. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded <br />by Council Member and upon vote taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: <br />Hanson, Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen; <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 4 <br />
