WHOLESALE GREENHOUSES
CORPORATE OFFICE
275 W. Wheelock Pkwy.
St. Paul, Minn. 55117
612 - 488 -6717
RETAIL GARDEN CENTER
270 W. Larpenteur Ave.
St. Paul, Minn. 55117
612- 488 -1927
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT INFORMATION - CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
Linder's Greenhouses no is applying for a conditional use permit to operate
a temporary garden center at the Marketplace Mall at 2900 Rice St..
Attached to this statement are several photos of Flower Marts that we
already operate in other cities. Our Hower Mart in Little Canada will be very
similar to these. Also attached is a site plan showing the approximate
location of the Flower Mart.
Linder's Hower Marts are clean, neat, and professional appearing garden
centers which are clearly identified as Linder's. We have been in business
for about 80 years and are proud of our products and are anxious to tell our
customers that we have grown all our flowers and vegetable plants locally
and stand behind them with excellent guarantees.
We feel that we are an excellent addition to the centers where we operate
and provide a service to our customers who may purchase their garden
supplies while doing their other shopping. Our Flower Mart will be located in
a little used portion of the lot and will not impede or hamper the flow of
traffic. We are also concerned with the safety of our customers.
We have operated Flower Marts for several years and are experienced at
running a professional garden center which will in no we detract from the
community. We remove all our waste materials and do not store anything
outside the Flower Mart or its patio area. We anticipate our selling season
to be from April 17 Thru June 27. We then promptly remove our Hower Mart
and store it away at our year -round greenhouses.
Page 31
Printed on Recycled Paper
