r"A
CONSTRUCTION
2930 LABORE ROAD
LITTLE CANADA, MN 55109
PHONE (612) 484 -0410
February 10, 1993
To: The City of Little Canada
This letter is written to inform you of our status with regards
to the concession stand at Pioneer Park.
As you know, last year was our first year running the stand.
After all our invoices were paid, and all the receipts were tallied,
we were approximately $2900.00 in the red. For now, we are paying
10% of our gross profits to the City of Little Canada. We are asking
you to consider changing this to 0% until our business increases
to the point of making a decent profit on the stand.
We are working hard each night and are there to secure the
building - and to open up and lock up the bathrooms, and are there
in case of any emergency. We ask that in turn, for that service,
you consider waiving the commission fee.
We also ask you to consider dropping the work comp policy that we
had to take out per your request. We feel this policy is unnecessary,
since we have no paid employees. The only people working at the
concession stand are our immediate family, Jim, Chris, Kelly and
Dee Dee.
These 2 changes would reduce our overhead costs and assist us
in making a profit. If we are not able to reduce our overhead, we
may have to consider giving up the stand.
We hope you will take these suggestions into consideration.
JMO /co
Respectfully su 'tted,
im a Chris Olson
Page 47
