Olson <br />James P Engernardr <br />We have reviewed the Rada site located on the west side of Edgerton Street, 3 lots south of Labore <br />Avenue. We have the following concerns regarding the placement of an estimated 11,000 cubic <br />yards of fill on the property. <br />We walked the site and verified that the Vanderbie Drain tile does outlet north of the Rada <br />property. We recommend that the property owner be required to extend a 6" diameter drain tile <br />beneath the proposed till area to the south property line. The City is to be notified at the time of <br />installation for verification of proper installation of the tile. We also recommend that the City notify <br />the Watershed District of the tile so that they can coordinate the outlet of the tile with the Gervais <br />Mill Project. <br />The drain tile should be installed beneath the proposed surface drainage swale. We recommend that <br />a 20' wide drainage easement be secured from the property owner over the swale and drain tile. We <br />understand that the property owner has spoken with both Frattalone Excavating and Veit & Co. for <br />the placement of the till material. Any tracking of material onto the roadway must be cleaned daily. <br />The street should he swept on a need basis. <br />We do not recommend the installation of silt fence at this time due to the construction activity <br />scheduled for the Gervais Mill Park property.
