C-6 1 9V14 ceCU/2aek
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(612) 484 -2177 / FAX: (612) 484 -4538
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Hanson and City Council Members
FROM: Joel R. Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: April 23, 1993
RE: Final Workshop On Street Reconstruction Policy
The city engineer and I are putting together additional
information to address the two remaining issues relative to
the street reconstruction policy. Those issues are:
1. Assessment formulas for multiple- family dwelling
units.
2. Assessment formulas for corner lots.
In discussing the completion of these tasks with the city
engineer, it will take some time to finalize our
recommendations. It is also my opinion that these matters
will take more discussion time on the part of the council
than you may want to allow at a regular council meeting.
Therefore, it is my recommendation that we call for a final
workshop to address these issues (due to the fact that we
have resolved the critical issue as far as the city
contribution percentage, we have now allowed ourselves more
time to complete these other items). It would be my goal
that we have the policy ready for presentation to the
council at the May 26, 1993 meeting at which time it can be
adopted formally. This would indicate that we should hold
the final workshop sometime preceding that meeting;
preferably during the third week of May. The time and the
date are at the discretion of the city council.
Page 68
MAYOR
Raymond G.
