DENNIS E. BROWN P.E.
CIVIL ENGINEER
8009 Quail Avenue North
Brooklyn Park, Minnesota 55443
(612) 560 -4906
July 21, 1993
Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator
City of Little Canada
515 E. Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
RE: Frederickshaven Second Addition
Planning File 758.09 -93.15
Dear Joel:
Enclosed are revised Preliminary Plans for this Addition. The
proposed road has been shortened to eliminate filling any part of
the wetland GL -9. This was requested by Minnesota DNR in the
July 13, 1993 letter from Molly Shodeen, Area Hydologist. This
shortening will also eliminate the dead -end portion of the
proposed watermain.
Included in the revised Grading, Drainage and Utility Plans is a
change in location for the 12" RCP wetland overflow for the west
lowland and the 24" RCP outlet, to be located near the existing
12" CMP drain. A short report describing these changes and
revising the flow calculations is attached.
Revised copies of the Preliminary Grading & Drainage Plan are
being sent to RWWD, MnDNR and U.S. Corps of Engineers.
Sincerely,
Dennis E. Brown, P.E.
MnReg 7442
Enclosure
cc: Fred Schletty, Schletty Family Partnership
City of Little Canada
Page 57
