Box 186
Wayzata, MN 55391 -0186
RE: Drainage Easement
Dear Mr. Hubbard:
MAYOR
Raymond G. Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
As you know, a storm sewer pipe was placed across your
property in relation to the St. Jude project. It has come
to my attention that the pipe was not placed exactly within
the easement area you previously granted to us due to some
construction concerns. Therefore, we will need a revised
easement to document the location of the pipe as it
presently exists.
Two copies of the needed easement documents are enclosed
for your signature. I would ask that you please execute
one copy and return it to me as soon as possible so that we
can record it. The other is for your records.
A question this process raises is the release of the other
easement. With this letter, you have my assurance that the
City will process a vacation of the easement you have
previously granted us in order that title of that property
will be properly released. Because of the hearing process
involved, it will take a few weeks to complete that
transaction.
Should you have any comments or questions regarding this
matter, please feel free to give me a call.
Sincerely,
Joel R. Hanson
City Administrator
JRH:slu
cc: Darrin Bergman, St. Jude Medical
Page 25
