Hanson COUNCIL Beverly Scalze Jim LaValle Steve Morelan Bob Pedersen ADMINISTRATOR Joel R. Hanson Attached are detailed bid tabulations for Improvement Project No. 91 -11. The City Engineer has not finalized his review of these bids as of yet. He will have a detailed recommendation as to the award available for Wednesday's meeting. It is my recommendation that the award be contingent upon receipt of executed Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions as well as the Agreement and Release from all affected property owners relating to the Ryan Industrial Park road situation. Pursuant to the project plans and specifications, we have 45 days from July 8, 1993 to consider the award of the contract. I would advise those days be utilized to secure executed documents prior to giving the notice to proceed to the contractor. Should we not receive 100% participation in the form of executed documents, then the project should not proceed. These documents will be mailed out to the affected property owners during the week of July 19, 1993. We will also enclose a cover letter outlining these terms and conditions as well as a price summary. It should be noted that the bids received were very favorable and the project should be able to be completed well within our $250,000 maximum figure. If the Council is in agreement with me, I would like a resolution awarding the contract to the apparent low bidder subject to the receipt of executed documents from the affected property owners.
